Dunn-Edwards Corp. said it has upgraded its Evershield® Premium Exterior Flat, Velvet and Eggshell paint products with advanced resin technology that boosts water repellency and resistance to color fade and surfactant leaching in flat and velvet sheens.
The product formulas maintain exterior performance and durability, with superior adhesion and grain-crack resistance, the company says.
The exterior eggshell paint is now based on the same resin technology as the exterior low sheen, semi-gloss and gloss versions of the product, and offers a high degree of gloss retention and dirt pick-up resistance, the company says.
As with the company’s other products, the product line is reported to be ethylene glycol-free, with very low odor during and after application.
The upgraded exterior flat, velvet and eggshell paint will be available in Dunn-Edwards’ stores in August; new product availability will vary from store to store.
