VersaFlex Inc. (Kansas City, Kan.), a manufacturer of polyurea coatings and sealants, appointed Dudley J. Primeaux II director of education and development.

Primeaux is a recognized authority on polyurea development, training and technical support and consulting, the company says. He will lead the company’s 14-level training program, continue his leadership role in new product development and continue to provide field and project consulting services.

Primeaux is author and co-author of numerous patents and technical publications related to polyurea and polyurethane technology.

He is also an SSPC: The Society for Protective Coatings-certified Protective Coatings Specialist (PCS) and certified Concrete Coating Inspector (CCI). He will remain an active member of SSPC, NACE and other industry organizations, the company said.
 
Recently, Primeaux was named a Journal of Protective Coatings and Linings (JPCL) “Top Thinker” in the coatings industry.

VersaFlex is a manufacturer of polyurea materials for various end-use markets, including roofing, steel and wood structures, concrete, and others.
