Steven Sternberger has joined Bayer MaterialScience LLC as industrial marketing manager for coatings in the Coatings, Adhesives and Specialties (CAS) business unit.
Sternberger assumes leadership of the CAS unit’s efforts to meet evolving coatings requirements for industrial, construction, automotive, corrosion-protection, and specialty customers.
Sternberger previously was director of marketing for industrial coatings at PPG Industries Inc. He has 30 years of marketing and sales experience in various segments of the coatings industry, including architectural, construction, corrosion protection, industrial, and powder coatings.
“We know that Steven’s extensive experience in the industry will benefit our CAS team, as well as our customers,” said Rich Sabatine, vice president, global key accounts and industrial marketing, CAS, Bayer MaterialScience LLC.
Sternberger has an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh’s Katz School of Business. In 2010, he was named the business to business marketer of the year by the Pittsburgh chapter of the Business Marketing Association.
