The Bridgeport Independent School District is inviting bids for repair work and roof coating application on three schools in Bridgeport, Texas. Bids are due Feb. 16.

The school buildings have EPDM roofs that require pressure washing, repairing of punctures or splits with white EPDM cover patches, and installation of butyl/polyester unitape over seams.
A water-borne elastomeric acrylic roof coating is to be applied to each of the three roofing systems. The project totals 148,916 square feet of roofing and is to be performed in intervals determined by the owner.
The roofs of the Bridgeport High School (approximately 112,000 square feet), Bridgeport Intermediate School (approx. 23,816 square feet), and Bridgeport Middle School (approx. 13,100 square feet) are to be repaired in this project.
According to the Bridgeport Independent School District’s website, renovations to the Bridgeport High School campus began July 2010 and are scheduled for completion by November 2011.
