Sherwin-Williams will launch "HGTV HOME™ by Sherwin-Williams," a line of interior paint and painting supplies in the second quarter of 2011.
Sherwin-Williams’ licensing partnership with HGTV will feature eight unique color collections; each will include 20 coordinating colors of Sherwin-Williams paint, as well as an array of application and clean-up supplies, the company said.
The products will be available by June 2011, according to Sherwin-Williams.
"The new alliance capitalizes on the strengths of both organizations, incorporating HGTV's popularity and design knowledge with Sherwin-Williams trusted expertise and high-quality products," said George Diver, senior vice president of marketing at Sherwin-Williams.
"HGTV provides consumers a wealth of resources as they seek design inspiration for their homes," said Ron Feinbaum, senior vice president and general manager of consumer products for HGTV. "The new HGTV Home by Sherwin-Williams line will allow us to support consumers in a tangible way with new products that transform their homes."
Sherwin-Williams will support the launch of HGTV Home by Sherwin-Williams with a comprehensive marketing plan including U.S. advertising, public relations and new in-store merchandising and color features, the company said.
